MaeZae Workshops
Was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She lived in the USA for 10 years where she first studied economics at Harvard College, then finance at Wharton Business School. She worked as a consultant for Bain & Co in Boston and Milan. In 2004 she returned to her native city to take a role in running her family's business in yarn manufacturing, where she discovered her passion for design and illustration. In 2011 she delegated all her operational responsibilities and started working on "rumisu" along with her sister. The brand is built on the sisters' love of illustration, design, handmade elements and ethical production&consumption.

Rumisu'nun kurucularından Pınar Yegin, eşarplarına taktıkları oyuncakların tığ işi tekniğiyle nasıl yapıldığını bize gösterecek. Bu atölye çalışması için katılımcıların en azından tığ işi tekniğiyle ilgili biraz tecrübeye sahip olmalarını istiyoruz.
Rumisu's co-founder Pınar will shows us how the toys attached to her scarves are made with this special crochet technique. For this workshop we require the participants to at least have some experience with crochet technique.
All materials are included in the workshop and light snacks and refreshments will be served.
