Exhibist is currently the only independent, non-profit English-language print magazine focusing on contemporary art from Turkey and is sold internationally at more than 25 locations across Europe, North America and Asia.
Every issue, printed quarterly, includes extensive features on up-and-coming Turkish artists, curators, collector or other cultural agents, together with analytical essays, all tied into a certain topic, covered from both a local and international perspective.
Published in October 2016, Issue 10 has a special focus on Architecture & Design from Turkey.
The magazine features interviews with Beatriz Colomina & Mark Wigley, curators of the 3rd Istanbul Design Biennial, Zehra Uçar, founding director of Zehra Uçar Architecture and Design.
The current issue includes an essay by Gökhan Karakuş titled ‘The Conceptual Basis of Contemporary Design In Turkey’ and Jussi Parikka’s ‘The Anthrobscene: Deep Time Designs.’
