Peacock Kanzashi Hair Stick - Toka
Kanzashi (簪) are hair ornaments used in traditional Japanese hairstyles. Some models may have even been known to be used for self-defense purposes. This is a modern take on the traditional hair pin.
Though this hair pin is ideal for weddings or special occasions, I love the peacock Kanzashi so much because it is a perfect hair accessory to make any hairdo instantly and effortlessly chic. Use it in a messy updo at home or add it to your look on a night out. Just like the bird, the peacock Kanzashi transforms your look in an instant. This original design belongs exclusively to Emma Krafft Jewellery.
This design is available in Bronze, or Micron gold-plated bronze. Micron plating deposits 2 microns of 14 karat gold on top of the Bronze material to give it a long lasting finish. Regular bronze does darken slightly over time, but can be cleaned easily at home by dipping the products a mixture of baking soda and lemon or alternatively, ketchup (!) to re-polish it.
Size: 7.7cm x 9cm
Material: Bronze or Micron Gold plated Bronze
