Peacock Kanzashi Hair Stick - Toka

Kanzashi (簪) are hair ornaments used in traditional Japanese hairstyles. Some models may have even been known to be used for self-defense purposes. This is a modern take on the traditional hair pin.

Though this hair pin is ideal for weddings or special occasions, I love the peacock Kanzashi so much because it is a perfect hair accessory to make any hairdo instantly and effortlessly chic. Use it in a messy updo at home or add it to your look on a night out. Just like the bird, the peacock Kanzashi transforms your look in an instant. This design is available in Bronze, or Micron gold-plated bronze. Micron plating deposits 2 microns of 14 karat gold on top of the Bronze material to give it a long lasting finish. Regular bronze does darken slightly over time, but can be cleaned easily at home by dipping the products a mixture of baking soda and lemon or alternatively, ketchup (!) to re-polish it.
